Our Story

Our story started on 23 January 2022, when two people decided to connect with a stranger from the internet for coffee. Brandon and Courtney first met at the Doppios at Mall of Africa. What was meant to be a quick introduction, quickly turned into 5 hours of talking, coffee and cheesecake. Little did they know, this was the start of a great adventure together.

The next few years were filled with weekends away, countless Tv shows watched, topics discussed, laughs shared and random side quests. Brandon adjusted to Courtney's overtalking and Courtney learnt about the importance of action movies.

On 17 June 2025, Courtney came downstairs to see how Brandon was doing in his study. He was recovering from an injury at the time, but he was a bit paler and quieter than usual. Courtney looked like…well a raccoon in a trash can. However, the moment had never been more perfect. Brandon asked Courtney to reach into the cupboard and pull out a small black gift bag.

Spoiler, she had no idea what was coming. He proceeded to take the bag and pull out a ring box. There in their first home they shared together, he promised to love her forever. He told her she was the most beautiful woman and that he could not wait any longer to start the next chapter of their lives together. She emphatically accepted with many, many happy tears in between.

Now they ask you to join them as they step into the next stage of their great adventure together. Courtney and Brandon hope to see you at their wedding to witness their promises to each other, to dance, to eat, to celebrate and to make lasting memories.
